Hi,

It sounds like to be a similar issue with:

Can you try with the steps mentioned in the above thread and see if it helps?

Rick,

Thanks.  As described in the link you included I uninstalled VMware using Apple System Preferences-Security & Privacy-Privacy from both

Accessibility and Full Disk Access.  Then I reinstalled VMWare to both location and made sure the box next to each one was checked, next I closed Security & Privacy, and restarted VMWare.  Now everything works as it should.  By the way I am using Windows XP Professional.
