Restrict access to menu items in vSphere HTML5 client

Hello Community,

We search solution to restrict access to menu items in vSphere HTML5 client. If user have only limited rights to datacenter resources, he able to view Administration item (and other) in main menu. How to hide this item from user ?

you cannot hide menus. You may have access to the menus with the rights you have given, but you cannot destroy the menu buttons.

Can you give me some details exactly what you want to do?

Thank you for you reply.

We want to hide some menu items from the users, as they cause misunderstanding of some our users. They click on Administration menu item and see message about restricted access message. And starts call to out support Smiley Happy

Sounds like a better approach is to train your users and not try to hack this into submission.
