Writable App Volume causes event viewer to hang

Hello -

We noticed that when you launch event viewer and click on one of the logs, there is a roughly 10 minute delay before you actually see anything.  After which its fine.  If the writable appvol is disabled or deleted, then when you repeat the process it opens the log as it normally would.  Does anyone know why this is?  I have not been able to figure it out.

We have seen delayt in opening eventviewer when a writable is attached but it has never been that long, mostly just 20 to 30 seconds.

What version of the writable are you using? My guess is UIA + profile or profile only, Am I correct to assume that?

I see it without writable as well, though I'm a few versions back, I believe its been a problem on and off for awhile.

I'm using UIA only for the writable template.
