Detach host profile from cluster

Hi,

Can you confirm that detaching a host profile from a cluster won’t do any changes to the respective hosts?

I see a very old post that states this but want to confirm things remain the same for 6.5 and 6.7

Unfortunately I do not have a test setup right now that I can try in on.

VMware documentation says how you detach it but cannot see a note/confirmation that NO hosts settings change will take place once profile is detached.

Yes, when you detach a host profile, no host changes occur. It only removes the profile reference from the host.
