VMWare 15.5

Last week I got the VMWare Workstation 15 (15.1.0) upgrade (bought license) and installed over my original Version 11 - working fine. This morning got notification a 15.5 update was available - installed, went through restart etc. but DOESN'T install ?? - still at 15.1.0 after trying twice !!!

I had to restart twice myself, re-launch the installer.  It finally worked here.

The installer is upgrading VC runtime. Please refer to this post for workaround:
