Cannot retrieve file from Windows Server 2003 sp 2 guest.

My native machine is Windows 10 running VMWare Player 15.  I restored a Windows Server 2003 Acronis backup to a VM.  I cannot get the VM to recognize any USB's, cannot connect to the internet, and cannot get a shared folder working on the VM.  I've tried bridge and NAT network configs with static and dynamic IP's.  IPConfig brings up either nothing or 0.0.0.0. Is there anything I can do?  Is it the way I restored the machine (created an Acronis bootable media then used the .TIB file to restore the OS)?

After restoring the image into the virtual machine, you need to reconfigure the virtual hardware.  Run the Free VMware vCenter Converter, select the existing VM, and choose the Reconfiguration step.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm not sure if this works or not because I found another solution.  I did not realize you could download an iso of VMWare Tools.  I mounted that as a CD and installed it from there.  The USB still did not connect, but I was at least able to copy an paste to my native desktop.
