Workstation 15 on Linux vmware tools

Hi All,
I'm running in to an issue that I can't figure out.  Fresh install of Pop-OS and downloaded Workstation Pro 15, installed a Windows 7 client, and Workstation Pro errors out when trying to download the vmware tools ISO.  Has anyone ran in to this before?

I have the same problem.  I upgraded my operating system to Ubuntu 19.04.  I have Windows10 clients from VMware Workstation Pro 14; I am using a 30-day trial of Workstation Pro 15 until I get a PO to purchase.  When I try to install VMware Tools it fails.

That looks lime the same issue as in vmware tools can't be install on guest os on ubuntu 19.04 host.
