VCSA 6.5 | unable to send email alert after editing alarm difnation receiver email address.

Hello All,

Recently I am facing issue with VCSA 6.5 email alert.

previously we used to receive email alert from venter, however after editing the email address in alarm definition we are not receiving the alert.

Telnet to SMTP server is OK.

no logs in VPXD regarding SMTP.

restarted the sendmail service.

checked /var/log/messages and it is empty.

Are you using multiple email addresses?

vcenter 6.5 appliance not sending email alerts.

VCSA 6.5 does not send alerts to e-mail

Thank you for help!

Issue got resolved, Issue was with the DL as from Exchange side DL was not allowed to receive mail from outside.
