There are users who cannot access vCenter.
This user can only request a catalog from the vRA.
Can this user increase the disk size of the VMs deployed on the vRA?
Otherwise, is it best way for administrators to increase disk capacity in vCenter?
Thanks !
If you entitle users to perform that action, yes. Keep in mind that while vRA will expand the underlying virtual disk, it will not extend the volume that sits on top. That is the user's responsibility, by default.
Thank you for your answer!
I know that I cannot increase the disk size of an existing template. : )
And I checked Action, but I didn't have the option to increase disk ..
Action Menu Commands for Provisioned Resources
Am I supposed to add to the Action here?
The action is called Reconfigure.
Exactly! That's what I needed.
Lastly, I have a question ..!
I chose "Do not reboot" and I confirm that the disk size increased.
Does this always work without reboot?
I'd like to know make sure, it need reboot or not.
I always get help from your answer.
Thank you very much !
If you tell it not to reboot it shouldn't reboot.
