VMware Workstation 9.x and Windows 10 1903

I have an old VMware Workstation v. 9.0.4 build-1945795 on a Windows 10 64 bit PC.

While attempting to install Windows 10 1903 I get a message saying that it is not compatible with my VMware Workstation.

Is it correct?

Is it a Windows or VMware issue?

What should I expect to happen it I try to install Windows 10 1903?

The only version of Workstation which is Supported on the newest Windows 10 versions is 15.x
