Kubernetes CSE integration with vCloud director

Hi Team,

I have some doubts.Could you please advise.

We integrated Kubernetes CSE with vCloud director(VDC) without any issues.

1) If CSE VM is unavailable or any OS issue(for example),there will not be any impact to existing operations(Assume I created a K8s cluster with 1 master and 5 worker nodes before CSE server issue)

All these 1 master and 5 worker nodes will run as usual without any impact and I cannot create a new CSE cluster (or) new operations until CSE VM comes online.

2) Right now,we have created a new user from vCenter server "cseuser@vsphere.local" and defined in CSE YAML file. It has complete admin privilege "cseuser@vsphere.local".

This "cseuser@vsphere.local" should have admininstrator privilege to access VDC ? or any other limited privilege is okay to access it ?

3) After creating YAML file in CSE VM,source OVA templates(CSE templates) will be there by default in YAML file.If we want to change any other template in YAML file,we can define our own customized OVA template(based on our requirement)

4) For example,If we have 5 CSE customers, then we need to create a dedicated CSE VM per client. We should not use single CSE VM for multiple clients. This is not advisable right ?

Please advise.

Thanks,

Manivel R
