VSphere version 5.5. There is still space available for storing lun, but there is no space for allocating virtual machine display, and most disks are equipped with streamlined devices. The reserve is a little too large. Is it due to the excessive amount of preparation? VSphere 5.5 Thin Reserve (Thin Reserve) is there a maximum allocation ratio, and what is it?
Hi shenyeyushui

Thanks very much! But I didn't see the about maximum proportion of Thin Provision
Please rephrase your question.

what does that mean ?

Does this mean most vmdks are thin provisioned ?
> The reserve is a little too large. Is it due to the excessive amount of preparation?
Sorry - no idea what this is supposed to mean.
Are you running out of space on the datastore ?
There is only one solution to that: free up space BEFORE you fill up the datastore.
Anyway - thin provisioning is a nice feature but it comes with a price: YOU MUST MONITOR THE FREE SPACE.
Dont start any VMs on a datastore when the amount of free space is just a few GBs.
Thank you for give attention to this problem.
It still have storage space and can not create a new virtual machine。
I just have a chinese photo。
Unfortunately, we cannot help without answering more details.
