UAG 3.6 installation issues

Hi all,

I currently trying to deploy uag 3.6 in dmz zone but have no success. Appliance deployed with single eth nic which I can ping but I can't access admin screen it shows as unreachable.

All ports seems open but obviously something is missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Rob,

I ran into the same issue yesterday. After some trial and error it turned out that the appliance will only be reachable from the network when search domain suffix is left blank in the OVF deployment information.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Raymond

I also have this issue and opend an SR. They told me to install the UAG with PowerShell skripts but yeah. I'll try out your workaround and give you feedback.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear that. Just to avoid confusion, this is the setting I am talking about:

ScreenHunter 25.jpg

It also takes some time (approx. 2 minutes) before the admin page at port 9443 comes online after powering on the VM. The normal website only comes online after configuring the appliance through the admin page first .

Raymond

Hi all,

As mentioned by Raywire I left search field empty whilst deploying UAG and once deployment complete I can access admin without any issues.

Thanks

Ik moest ook de DNS records weglaten met het script.

Hi vdi2777,

thanks, that did the trick.

I deployed via powershell and commented everything out that was dns related and the deployment finally worked.

Spend hours debugging before coming to this post. :smileyangry:
