Appliance upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5 u3b

Hi everyone,

Using the ISO GUI, I can choose install or upgrade. The install works but it didnt transfer the ip and name to the new appliance.  When I choose upgrade, Phase 1 completes,

and Phase 2 begins.  But it seems to be stuck in the pre-upgrade check loop.  The pre-checks complete then it starts over again.  Anyone have this issue before?

upgrade vcenter 5.5 to 6.5 u3 is not possible.

Hi June,

You cannot upgrade directly from 5.5 to 6.5 U3*. You can upgrade to 6.5 U2 and then patch vCenter to U3b.
