I am facing the same error. My VRops is certificate is valid, but it is a wildcard certificate with no IP address in the Subject Alternative Name
The certificate with thumbprint <xxx>, provided by your vROps is not valid due to error: "java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative names matching IP address <zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz> found"
Press "CONTINUE" if you would like to proceed adding the vROps with invalid certificate.
Hi AS102195
The provided error is a generic error, I would request to click continue and let us know if that works?
No it does not work sorry - Endpoint test failed. -> cannot retry due to server authentication, in streaming mode
Hi AS102195,
Please confirm the account which we are using to add vrops as endpoint?
To isolate you may try using the admin account and see if that helps. Please share the output for this step?
Request to provide your contact details in below form.
