Reply a text to your question can not. but you can build a new server and stopped all vcenter services in old server then start vcenter installation with connect the database with the old server

Please don't install any more Windows vCenters at this point. There will be no more after 6.7 so it makes absolutely no sense. Go with the appliance all the way.

If i export the VCDB database from the old vcenter.
Then I import the VCDB database to the new vcenter.
Will it work without error ?

.The best solution is to have an external database

If you want to talk about the "best" thing, it's to not have an external database at all by using the appliance. Windows vCenter is dead and is not returning.

You can start gradually as per your business requirements.

And the best scenario as daphnissov advised.

Hi,

the migration tools is an option within the installation itself.
