Tracking VM creation and deletion in vROPs without vRLI

Hi Team,

I want to create alerts in my vROPs 7.0 which would track VM creation and deletion. I don't want to use vRLI in this specific case. Is there any way that i can create an event in vROPs for the same and setup an alert?

Please help

As far as i know this is not possible currently in vROps. Despite you do not want to use vRLI, i think vRLI is a better use case for this.

What you could do is track this with vRLI and send the alert(s) to vROps.

Hi Rick,

Thank You for your suggestion.

I am already able to use vRLI and track the VM creation and deletion in vROPs. The vRLI alert has been forwarded to vROPs and works fine.

It seems that there is no way that we can tarck it directly from vROPs using events.
