Hello Folks,
I'm in the process of kicking off a mass migration of xen domu CentOS4 and 5 VMs in to VMware.
I had assumed i would be able to use the converter to do it however I've only just realised that pre CentOS 6 doesn't seem to be supported on any version of the converter?
Am I right in thinking it simply hasn't been tested/certified by VMWare?
I'd be surprised if the converter can handle as low as RHEL3 but cannot handle the CentOS equivalent.
You are right, if something is not supported , it means that VMware didnt test it and certify it. That doesnt mean it wont work at all , you may always give a try and check if that works before going for alternate action.
It should work but didn't tested because of EOL of OS.
You should try with latest Converter and keep in mind that para-virtual OS could not be converted.

bHi,
Since vCenter Converter version 6.0, it supports up to the Centos7 (64bit) and Centros 6.x (32bit and 64bit) versions.
