Microsoft Azure Migration

Hi All!

I am having trouble loading Microsoft Azure Migration into ESXi, 5.0.0.

First I download the image from Azure (MicrosoftAzureMigration.OVA), then I deploy template but get error unsportted hardware family 'vmx-10'. So I open the ova file and change to 'vmx-08' then save it. Next I use HasMyFile to re-hash then redeploy but now I get OVA has invalid header block(checksum error).

I'm currently stuck here.

A vmx-10 VM does not support ESXi 5.0, only 5.5 and forward. And you can't simply modify the vmx file to change that string to whatever you want. You need to upgrade your ESXi host because it's not compatible with that VM. Lastly, this is more of an Azure-related question as to what they state as their compatibility.
