As name implies, Browse local profile doesn't browse anything. Admin can easily navigate through registry and file system profile paths by selecting registry and file system information from drop-down menus in the Import/Export editor. as you see in screenshot, when Browse Local Profile is enabled, then you will get dropdown options as it is currently reading it from your profile. If you disable that option, and then again try to write, it wont show you any option.
