Did you install the NSX Management Pack?

If so, you can follow the steps and the requirements in the userguide to configure the Network Devices adapter configuration:

That ip is the address of the device you are trying to connect to. It will be behind the error message. I dont use the NSX pack so not sure of the field heading

First you need to make sure you have installed Windows 7 network card driver subway rewards. Without installing the driver, your network card will not work. If you plug in the network card the first time to the computer.

To extend the monitoring coverage of vRealize Operations Manager to physical switches (Spine and TOR switches), you need to perform the following configurations:

  1. SNMP Configuration: Ensure that SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is enabled and configured on your physical switches. SNMP allows vRealize Operations Manager to collect data and monitor network devices. Refer to the documentation provided by the switch manufacturer for instructions on enabling and configuring SNMP. Myindigocard

  2. SNMP Community String: Configure an SNMP community string on the switches. This string acts as a password that allows vRealize Operations Manager to communicate with the switches. Set a community string that matches the one configured in vRealize Operations Manager.

  3. Firewall Configuration: Verify that the firewall on the switches or any intermediate firewalls between vRealize Operations Manager and the switches allow SNMP traffic (UDP port 161) to pass through. Adjust firewall rules as necessary to enable communication.

  4. vRealize Operations Manager Configuration: In the vRealize Operations Manager console, go to the administration settings and navigate to the SNMP settings section. Add the IP addresses or hostnames of the switches you want to monitor, along with the corresponding SNMP community string. Mysubwaycard

  5. Discovery and Monitoring: Initiate a discovery process in vRealize Operations Manager to discover the switches. This process will attempt to communicate with the configured IP addresses and SNMP community strings to collect data and monitor the switches. Ensure that the IP addresses entered in vRealize Operations Manager match the actual IP addresses of the switches.

  6. Verify Connectivity: Double-check the network connectivity between vRealize Operations Manager and the switches. Ensure that the IP addresses are reachable and that there are no network configuration issues preventing communication.

If the connection attempts are failing and trying to connect to nonexistent IP addresses, make sure that the IP addresses configured in vRealize Operations Manager match the actual IP addresses of the switches. If necessary, verify network configurations, DNS settings, or any other factors that could lead to IP address discrepancies.

It's also recommended to refer to the vRealize Operations Manager documentation and switch manufacturer's documentation for detailed instructions specific to your environment and versions.
