Are there any "gotchas" when up grading an Horizon 7.0.3 system to 7.9? We have two connection servers, 1 composer and 1 security server.
Thanks,
Steve
I just went from 7.3.2 to 7.9 and it was incredibly smooth. I know it isn't exactly the same, but relatively close.
If you have a domain list for users when they login, you will need to change one setting in horizon view after the upgrade. After you first upgrade your connection servers, when you login under domain it will say *defaultdomain* and that is it. You must go under a connection server, click view configuration, global settings, and at the bottom check off "Send domain list". That was my only issue.
One thing we noticed when moving to I believe 7.6 was that if you have underscores (_) in your naming of the VMs we started to get errors when loading the settings of our pools. Changed to a hyphen - and was fine after.
thanks, this issue puzzle me for days m(_ _)m
BTW, I just upgraded from 7.0.1 to 7.9, it's OK.
just follow the manual's step
