Hello VMwarers,
I have VCSA on top of ESXi and an Active Directory everything is configured pretty well VCSA can ping ESXi via IP but it can't ping via ESXi hostname hence DS records is configured wel, what can cause such an issue ?
additional: I've configured DNS server for VCSA to point to the AD which plays as my DNS Server

Either your DNS isn't configured correctly, vCenter isn't actually pointed there, or there is communication disruption.
I've created a DNS record following the MS Guides, I am building my Test Lab on vCloud..
Ok, well if you can't nslookup on the hostname then either it's *not* configured correctly or one of my previous suggestions.
You need the DNS server details on the VCSA so that it can use to perform the resolution.
I will give it another try and tell you
