Win Server 2012 opens with a command prompt

What's up guys,

I'm new to this, but I'm trying to find out why the OS is opening in a command prompt. I was expecting a normal Windows gui to arrange settings, computer name, remote desktop access, install programs etc, etc.

I will try to answer you questions to the best of my ability. Thanks in advance.

This wouldn't have anything to do with vSphere or ESXi. It's some setting inside the guest OS, so you might want to check with whomever built it.

As daphnissov states, this is not related to the VMware product.

From my experience, I can tell you that, what you see in the console it can be related to Windows Server Core or to the Windows Server booted in Safe Mode with command prompt.

Probably is the last one but, be sure before making any changes.
