SecureString at Configuration - vRO 7.6

Hi,

I have a secureString variable at a configuration and a workflow that bind a variable to the securestring at the configuration. The problem: I cannot get the real value of the variable. If I try to log the value I get a big string, like a hashcode.

vRO 7.6.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I was able to reproduce it when the content / binding is created in the new Web Client. It seems to work if the content / binding is created in the legacy client.

I recall there was a similar issue raised some time ago, will need to check what happened with it.

Hi,

It seems that doesnt matter where you do the binding, but where you create/edit the configuration. I've created a configuration at the legacy client and made the binding at the web client, and it works. When I edited the same configuration at the web client I started getting the issue.

OK, I was told by one of our UI engineers that this issue has been fixed in the current development branch and the fix will be back-ported to 7.6, so it will be available with the next vRO 7.6 service pack build.
