is using vSphere FT for VRA IaaS Sql DB supported by VMWare?

Is anyone using this in production environment?

I don't believe that's supported, I've never seen it, and I believe that's a bad idea. If you want SQL redundancy you should handle this at the application layer and not at the infrastructure layer. There are several ways to go about this with SQL, most popular being AAG, which are supported.
