Configure SSO in vRealize Operations Manager

Hi.

I want all users that doesn't use vCenter to get web browser SSO into vRealize Operations manager without having to do anything other than open the URL.

In the documentation i cannot find anything other that how to connect it to vCenter / PSC for SSO

Is it possible to configure here?

I want to connect directly to AD / ADFS?

You will need to integrate it with vIDM in that case.

I think you might be able to have them 'bookmark' the following URL and just use that:

https://<IP OR FQDN>/ui/login.action?skipSSO=false

This will prompt the URL to use SSO, if available. Otherwise, you'll just have to use AD and have them authenticate via AD.

However, please keep in mind that vROps cannot modify VC or SSO users permissions within vROps. The best way to manage users/permissions is to use local accounts or AD.
