Hello
What is the recommended attitude towards VM hardware version upgrades on the VCSA?
Should you upgrade to latest version or let it be (and why)?
I know that the features/resources available in newer versions will never really be needed for the vCenter.
But on the other hand - why not, if nothing breaks?
And the exclamationmark (1 missing) in the update manager bugs my eyes :smileylaugh:
Check if the following VMware KB article helps:
Upgrading a virtual machine to the latest hardware version (multiple versions) (1010675) | VMware KB

Thank you for the helpful article - I was not able to find this info when searching for it.
So it seems that:
VMware do not suggest to upgrade the VM HW and VMware tools on the appliance as it may break the VC.
I agree with not updating the VM hardware for the vCSA.
