As I found out VmWare Player v15.1 for Windows offers in VmWare machine settings buttons for defragmentation and compacting of Linux guestOS.
When was this feature introduced?
I remember times in the past when users have to enter some compact commands in guestOS terminal to achieve this.
Furthermore I observed that defragmentation does the jobs completely.
No further compact is needed.
Is this correct?
