NSX Joined to AD and over 100000 Objects!

Is there anyone out there with an AD with over 100000 objects? If so i was wondering if you have passed the maximum how does NSX handle the AD and can it still be used?

Hello,

Please refer to the VMware NSX maximus

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-NSX-Data-Center-for-vSphere/6.4/NSX%20for%20vSphere%20Recommended%...

and

https://configmax.vmware.com/guest?vmwareproduct=NSX%20Data%20Center%20for%20vSphere&release=NSX%20f...

Disclaimer: The limits can be affected by other factors, such as hardware dependencies. For more information about the supported hardware, see the appropriate hardware compatibility guide. It might not be possible to maximize all confguration settings and expect your desired outcome. To ensure that you do not exceed supported confgurations for your environment, consult individual solution limits. The recommended confguration maximums do not represent the theoretical possibilities of your product.

Thanks Marcin4 "The recommended confguration maximums do not represent the theoretical possibilities of your product."

Does this mean you have tried NSX joined to an AD which exceeds several of the maximums?

Well, I havent tried to exceed any maximus.

In some cases the prodcut will allow you to exceed the maximus, but that can impact performance and anomalies may occure.

So it's it highly not recommended to go beyond the maximus.
