I haven't been able to find an answer to this anywhere. We have cloud-hosted Workspace ONE. Am I able to leverage my existing SaaS version of VMware Identity Manager for the authentication to lifecycle manager? Seems silly to have to bring up an additional vIDM appliance just for my vRealize apps.
Thanks.
Looks like I am able to register my SaaS vIDM tenant. I had to open up outbound port 443 from the Lifecycle Manager appliance to the various Identity Manager public IP addresses that VMware lists.
There still is a message on the registration page that says "Identity Manager with version 2.9.2, 3.2.0, 3.2.0.1, 3.3.0 is supported." Those are all on-prem version numbers of Identity Manager, so hopefully connecting to SaaS tenant is supported.
