Property binding (blueprint -> VM)

I have defined 2 properties, both are using vRO workflows to generate dynamic lists selections.

The second property is depending on the value of the first one, so the action associated with the second property has an input field.

If I assign both properties to the VM, passing the value of the first property works fine by binding it to the input of the second action.

However, I need to assign the first property to the blueprint, as it applies to multiple elements of the blueprint (common setting). In this case the property value is not passed to the second action, even if I select it on blueprint level.

Any suggestions?

Need more basic details. What version of vRA? Is this a composite blueprint? Are you using custom forms? Etc.

This is vRA 7.5 with embedded vRO, and a standalone machine blueprint. I'm not using custom forms.
