I have some trouble with VM with Windows 2012 R2 with RDP Connection, Powershell session etc. When i start VM - everything seems to be fine i can connect to VM via RDP and its write that VMTools are installed and running , but after some period of time ( sometimes 1 days , sometimes 2 weeks) i loose ability to connect to machine and I receive information that VMWare tools are Installed but not running . So from this point, i can only "hard reset" or shutdown VM which is very bad in my case (this is machine with sql databases ).
2 month ago I migrate this VM from another ESXi serwer (ESXi VMWare 5.5 build 2068190) to another ESXi Serwer (ESXi VMWare 5.5 build 9313066)
On old server this machine had too this problem but maybe 1 times per 3-4 month.
We use License:
VMware vSphere 5 Essentials
