Can ESX host attached USB Drives be named

I have several USB drives that are attached to two hosts.  One host has 2 drives the other 4 drives.

I have these drives attached to VM's running on the same host where the drives are attached (I do have Vmotion capability  turned on).

Through trial and error, I was able to connect the desired USB drives to the desired VM.

The issue was that all the drives show up named the same...(they are all from the same manufacturer and have the same specs).  Seems VMware pulls the name from the device info.

See above pic - all of them show up as Seagate RSS Backup+ DeskScreen Shot 2019-05-20 at 8.32.47 AM.png

The question is....

Is there any way to name the USB drives  (once they are attached to the host), so that when attaching them to VM's they can be definitively identified?

Ron.
