Cannot PXE boot VMware machine

Hello -

I am trying to PXE boot to our WDS/MDT server on a VM and it continually gives me an TFTP download error. Failed to restart TFTP. It works with no problems on a physical machine, so i'm not sure why the VM is having such issues. Any help would be appreciated.

There are other VM's on the ESXi host on the primary host. I also have another ESXi environment that does not have any other VM's on it. Both of these VM's are having the same issues. I have also tried creating 10-11 different VM's to see if it makes any difference and if one of them will PXE boot, to no avail.

I just fixed it by disableing NetBios over TCP IP under the tcp ip v4 options -> WINS

Had this issue very often with HyperV
