ESXi lost management network ip (realesed in DHCP)

I have a vSphere host (ESXi 6.7 U2) on which i currently have a VM running.

Both have their own IP (via DHCP)

Currently I have a problem that the host loses the management connection (IP is released on dhcp).

The VM is still reachable.

The problem is, I don't know how to prevent the host from being unreachable.

It is recommended to set a static IP on the ESXi host.

Does the IP on the ESXi changes?

Hi HikeStoica,

IP of ESXi Host do not change. DHCP is set to give them always the same.

Still, it's better and recommended to set static IP on ESXi.
