Install Horizon Agent on Linux

I attempted to run the install-viewagent script and received an error.

./install_viewagent.sh -b mybroker.mydomain.com -d mydomain.con -u administrator -p password

The script IMMEDIATELY indicated.....

Installation start...

Uninstallation start ...

uninstallation done

MESSAGE.......

Your VM is configured as 2D/vSGA, please check quick guide for "Recommended Video Memory (vRAM) Settings.

I verified settings and the vRAM is set to 32MB.

!. How can I verify the installation was (in this case0 UNSUCCESSFUL?

Thank you in advance.  Tamra Y. Mitchell

What OS are you using?

Did you join it do the domain prior to running the install?

An immediate uninstall might indicate there already a version of the agent installed. Was there any configurations done on the OS prior to running this?

Were you able to create a pool and did the VM appear? If so, what is the status?

I have the same question.

Ubuntu 18.04

I get the same output but it isn't registering with the Connection server, and there is no error message.

Is there a good location to check logs?

Flag this as important ( for me) please. 🙂
