DirectX 11 support?

Wondering if there's any update on the oft-asked status of DirectX 11 support in Fusion 11?  ArcGIS Pro 2.3 now lists DirectX 11 as a minimum requirement (2.2 did not), and it runs like molasses on my early 2013 15" MacBook Pro Retina w/2.8Ghz i7 & 16gb.  The 3D scenes are just unusable, as ArcGIS Pro defaults to CPU rendering without DirectX 11, so it appears.  I'm so bummed - without DirectX 11 support I'll have to resort to a bootcamp Windows installation.

Help!

Hi,

It is VMware policy not to comment on future features or policies, so there won't be an official answer unless marketing decides different (which usually it does not)

Having said that, here's a Product Manager's reply on that question..

Re: DirectX 11 support?

Note that if (when) DirectX11 support comes that it won't be in Fusion 11.

This is typically a feature that only will be released in a new version of VMware Fusion.

Hope this helps,
