handling alarams_powercli

Hi Luc,

if you could suggest something on the folowing  first two alarms triggerd .

this is triggered on host .

i thought of checking the corresponding distributed switch through powercli

Where $memdis holds distributed switch for that datacenter.

These alarms are triggered by configuration mismatches between the VDS and the physical switch.
Do you have CDP configured on the switches (virtual and physical)?

Ok, LLDP is an alternative to CDP.
With the QueryNetworkHint method, you should be able to obtain information about the physical switch.

See for example Re: Collect vDS Portgroup, VMNIC and CDP information


But to fix this reported issue, you will also need to involve someone from your network team.
