vRealize Operations Manager and Horizon Enterprise

Hello All,

I have a Horizon Enterprise deployment that I also deployed vRealize Operations on as well. My question is on the licensing portion of this.

I deployed vRealize 7.0.1 and have verified all of my keys are for version 7.x but I am not able to license vROps. I am able to license the Horizon management pack but every time I put in the Operation Manager license I get an "Invalid License" error.

I know there is a specific version of vROps for Horizon but it only goes to 6.6 and I asked around the vExpert slack group and was told that I didn't "have" to deploy that specific version and my license should work for 7.x.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You should have two, one for horizon and one for vrops, the vrops one is 1 vm. You put the 1 on vrops license and the other one for the horizon adapter. check with your VMware rep, but I've always had an issue with this. The horizon vrops looks like it only works with the horizon dashboards, there is a process to excluded everything else

Thanks sjesse, I do have both and the 1VM license is the one that is giving me the error so I can't even get it in the Manager to associate anything with it.

I will probably go ahead and start a support case and will update if I find anything out.
