Hi
Im looking for support on my vsphere Replication.
I have one vCenter with HA & 2 Cluster ( 2 different site )
Currently im replicating
Site A VM's to Site B Data Store &
Site B VM's to Site A Data Store,
Currently i have vCenter Fail over but is there anyway i can make replication Fail over or in case if my current replication goes offline is there anyway i can recover VM's that backed up in replication.
Using SRM and some automation, sure.
SRM required additional license?
anyway i can do with my current setup & License
Yes, SRM requires an additional license. You can probably do anything with your license if you write your own automation application.
While its technical possible to get replicate vcenter and recover the same one, I'd get a second vcenter before getting srm.
You can configure vcenter High Availability
vCHA is not designed to provide site-level availability of vCenter. That's why you have multiple vCenters at different sites managing different sets of resources.
what about VCHA separate subnet , I have configured this one vcenter managing 2 sites
You're using vCHA as it was not intended although it may "work". Separate subnet does not mean separate physical sites. If you have an active site and a failover site, this is a use case for two separate vCenters and not the same vCenter. Almost all other layered solutions begin from that premise.
Okay go it..!
Back to my question is there any inbuilt recovery option available in VM incase my replication goes down ?
No
