Question :
When I run the command "esxcli network vswitch standard list" I see the output of a vswitch, but my vswitch Class type is indicated as a cswitch and not etherswitch. What is a cswitch?
Can you show your output, please?
The command run on the ESXi host to generate this screen output was:
esxcli network vswitch standard list
Notice that both vswitches are classed as cswitch and not etherswitch...
From best I can tell (although I have not observed this personally), a cswitch class is a Cisco switch provided by a Cisco VIB, most commonly with the 1000V.
Thank you for that - I was under the impression the the Cisco Nexus 1000V switch had been deprecated some time back....
