vmdk recover

Hello,

​I accidentally deleted a vm from the datastore and unfortunately I don't have a backup. Already tried photorec but with no luck. I've found some discussions here from a user, Continuum, that has some knowledge in this matter. Unfortunately I can't send pms, new vmtn user here (not vsphere though), so I'm trying to contact him here.

Hi Mauro
Photorec does not have predefined search parameters for ESXi-VMDKs.
Photorec is able to find Workstation-type Sparse VMDKs only.
For a search for deleted vmdks on a ESXi-VMFS volume photorec is not useful.
