Keeps loading on the Configure vCenter page

I deployed a Skyline Appliance for the first time, and got to step 7 Configure vCenter.

I entered all necessary information including the custom sso.

It "complains" about untrusted SSL, and goes into a Loading loop afterwards.

The vCenter is 6.7 U2.

I tried rebooting, which resulted in going through the steps again, but in step3 Collector Registration it said it was already registered.

Afterwards i redeployed and it's stuck in Loading again. It has been there in about a hour.

Hi,

Thank you, Incognito mode worked.

I can see it complains about VC_CHANGES and VC_EVENTS.

Couldn't upload data to the REST endpoint. HTTP status line: 502, Bad Gateway

HI Brnie,

Thank you for the update. Kindly share the details so that we can validate from our backend.

Sometimes it takes a couple of hours for the first collection of data to be completed.

I did send the smartsheet earlier. Smiley Happy

But I actually am a bit confused, because the collector id from the collector and the one in Skyline Advisor Application doesn't match.

It has been running since yesterday, so I suppose the first collection of data should have been completed already.

Hi Brnie,

Thank you for the details. From the back end I notice that there are two collectors registered.

Hence we are seeing different collector id's.  Please wait for 48 hours and we would see the newly deployed collector.

We can remove the collector from Cloud Services Platform which is not needed.

Below are the steps to be performed.

Login to csp (https://skyline.vmware.com/collector/manage-collectors)

Click on the 3 vertical dots on the actions column and you will see Deregister.

Kindly Deregister the collector.

Great.

It's now removed.

I'll put a reminder in my calendar for friday, then we will see if everything is running smooth.

Thanks for your help so far.
