UEM 9.7 & W7 Fresh Install - Errors logging on (15m+ logon time)

I've just pushed out a fresh deployment of UEM 9.7, with a W7 template. I'm seeing he following errors in the flex logs, and logon times are painful as a result.

All good suggestions - managed to get to the bottom of it; anti-virus!

Uninstalled AV in the image, and all works well, so ultimately it's a case of adding the necessary exclusions.

Thanks for the suggestions and taking the time to reply Smiley Happy

Hi alsmk2,

That error message indicates that UEM's service is not installed, or not installed correctly. Also, you mentioned UEM 9.7, but the log file indicates UEM 9.6... Probably good to check your install.

Thanks - had just spotted the version a few mins ago too. Pushing out a pool with the 9.7 agent now.

I'd be surprised  if it was down to the agent version though, as it's normally backward compatible to quite a few versions. Hopefully the agent re-install at 9.7 will sort it out. Smiley Happy

Do you experience the same with the previous image? Any changes in configuration that may have impact?

Do you apply any security hardening on this image? The error seems to indicate "access denied", but that could be red herring.

In your base image, does the UEM service seem to be running normally? Can you stop it and restart it?

Have you figured out the exclusions needed? I have flexengine and the entire immidio directory excluded, but I'm still getting 5+ minutes logging in to a new session.
