I set this up a couple weeks ago, but I still have not been able to log into the adviser. I'm currently the only person at my site that needs access.
Hi,
It will take upto 48 hours for the Advisor to get updated. Please wait for 48 hours and reply to my email, in case the issue persists.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing the details. Please let me know,
1 If you are using the same id that was used to deploy the collector to access Advisor?
2 Have you completed the CSP migration?
It looks like I actually have two organization IDs set up with my account, and when I walk through the setup for the collector it shows no existing collectors under either ID. I'm guessing I did something wrong then.
Hi,
Please confirm if the CSP migration is done. If not, please use the link below to complete the same.

I think I am farther today than yesterday. I had a few browser issues getting through the setup, but I was able to use a third browser to complete the CSP migration. I also unregistered the Skyline VM, recreated it and reregistered it. I now see a registered collector when I completed the "Get Started" setup, and I am able to get into the Skyline Advisor and see details on my account. I am still waiting for inventory to show in the Advisor, but I understand it will take a while for that to populate.
The issue I'm having now is that the Skyline Advisor page shows that I have one registered collector, but no VCs, hosts or VMs and the collector status is inactive for well-over two hours. I can match the collector ID with the one that shows in the Skyline appliance admin page, where that shows the collector is running, last seen "in a few seconds," and my vCenter and View Connections servers are all added with green checkmarks beside them. Under the Skyline collector setup page called "Step 5 - Manage existing Collectors" I have a collector with the same matching Collector ID, same Collector name, the state shows healthy, version is 2.1.0.0 and the registration type is "Cloud Services Platform (associated to this Organization)." Any thoughts?
I will add that after my last post, I went into the admin page for the appliance and configured a few things: changed the name from photon to skyline, changed the time zone to US Central, and maybe a couple more things, but no IP address changes. From there I went back into the setup page and added all of my View connection servers and configured LDAP.

Hi,
Inventory should be accessible on the Advisor page now, please confirm and let me know if you need any other assistance.
Hi Todd,
Thank you for your time on the web ex, the collector is working fine and we have removed the stale collector. Feel free to contact us in case you need any assistance.
Thanks for your help!
We were able to get this resolved. Most of the issues were on my end, but it may be helpful to know (if you have not seen this otherwise) that the collector polls about every 48 hours and can show inactive from time to time.
