Not working USB3.0 hard drive on Workstation 15 version even if no error and no alarm.

I use VMware workstation pro 15 on my laptop. However USB3.0 hard drive(1TB) is not working even if there is no issues and error and alarm.

Just USB stick(32GB) is OK and working well.

I found this issue that I am not sure this is windows10 problem.

If you also cannot using USB3.0 hard drive please do it as below.

1) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\      

2) change uaspstor.sys to uaspstor.sys.old

3) copy USBSTOR.SYS and than change name to uaspstor.sys

So your USB device is a UAS (USB Attached Storage) device. This is a known issue in VMware Workstation. We are working on it.
