I have read all over and tried a few things, disabled in bios and restarted, but no matter what the floppy disc drive pops up as B:, and i want it to be a:
If you disabled in the BIOS it should not even show up in the guest. if it does, check the device manager and remove the device.
it does show up in device manager, i removed it but when i pluf in the usb floppy it still goes straight to b:
Ok i managed to change the floppy disc from b: to A:.
I disabled floppy in bios settings.
I removed floppy from vm settings.
I edited the registry to change the b: to a: inside regedit, local machine and mounted devices.
but my problem is i did al this on a winxp vmware, i need to do it on win 98,
i cant get it right in win98, does anyone know how to do this.
I cant find mounted devices in win98.
