VMware 11 and windows 7 professional-USB not connecting to virtual client

I'm running MAC OS Mojave

I have tried the config windows notes to select connect to client upon connection, that does not work, nor connect upon USB recognition.

Need troubleshooting help-not sure if this is an OS or VMware issue
