Hi,
Login as root on that screen. (if it doesn't get past that one, open a TTY console via ctrl+alt+F1 .. or ctrl+alt+F2 etc...)
Then run the command it says you to run:
systemctl status mysql.service
and read why it has problems.
Btw, this is not a virtualisation problem, but just a MySQL or Linux issue.
